The ICT Department at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School is a cornerstone of the institution’s commitment to embracing modern technology in education and administration. With a strong infrastructure in place, the department ensures that digital tools and services are effectively integrated into teaching, learning, and office operations. Each classroom is equipped with a desktop computer and a projector, enabling teachers to deliver interactive and engaging lessons using multimedia content. This setup has greatly enhanced student participation and improved learning outcomes.

At the heart of the school’s digital operations is its internally hosted internet server system. This allows for secure, fast, and reliable internet access across the entire campus, supporting both academic research and administrative tasks. The ICT Department maintains and monitors this network, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Furthermore, the school boasts two fully equipped computer laboratories, housing approximately 60 computers that are used for practical ICT lessons, research, digital literacy training, and various academic projects.

In addition to supporting students, the department ensures that every office in the school is IT compliant, with functioning computers and internet connectivity tailored to administrative needs. The ICT Department also handles regular maintenance, software updates, troubleshooting, and training to keep systems running smoothly.
